Java Java Basics Getting Started with Java Strings, Variables, and Formatting

Define a string variable.

Hello,

Your code is not actually wrong and it should compile (although you shouldn't put "javac Name" and "Name.java" at the end), however in the treehouse challenges normaly you just have to do what they tell you to do and write exactly as they tell you to write, you don't have to do anything extra. So, this challenge is really short:

String firstName="new";
console.printf("%s can code in Java!",firstName);
