Shouldn't Project Managers make excellent UX'ers? I feel that this group fit more than Library Sciences.

As a PMP I feel that the UX community and PMI communities go hand in hand, just wondering if anyone has any thoughts on this...

I'll throw an odd choice in: What about Industrial/Product Designers? If we are talking of UX as something larger than an interface on a screen, that is. Like Lis mentioned in a previous video, Apple's UX goes beyond iOS or OSX. In fact, the software itself plays a small part in the "Apple Experience". It's the attention to detail put forth in their physical products that really sets them apart from the competition nowadays.

No, I work in UX and our project managers have a difficult time thinking about how our users actually use our products. Their main role is to facilitate info about the product, relay info and requests from end users and make sure all of our sprints are running smoothly and efficiently. Library Science folk can make great UX team members because of their training in the categorizing of information. This is an invaluable skill, especially for very large sites with many levels.
