Seemingly correct code is not accepted

It says it doesn't get the right output for S(), says it got dot-dot-dot, what is exactly what it wants. Other combinations with dash work aswell..

                if self.pattern[index] == '.':
                    outStr += 'dot'

                    outStr += 'dash'
        return outStr

the code challenges run additional tests behind the scenes I think. What i did was create a list with the corresponding "dash" and "dot". And then return "-".join(list)
