Java Java Objects Creating the MVP Scrabble Tiles

Scrabble Player task 2

Error: While you could definitely solve this using an if statement, try returning the result of the expression.

I really don't get Why I am getting this error. I think I did everything right.

ScrabblePlayer.java
public class ScrabblePlayer {
  // A String representing all of the tiles that this player has
  private String tiles;

  public ScrabblePlayer() {
    tiles = "";
  }

  public String getTiles() {
    return tiles;
  }

  public void addTile(char tile) {
    // TODO: Add the tile to tiles
    tiles += tile;
  }

  public boolean hasTile(char tile) {
    // TODO: Determine if user has the tile passed in

    if (tiles.indexOf(tile) != -1) {
      return true;
    }else {
      return false;
    }
  }

}

The message is acknowledging that your code would work, but they want you to solve it in a more concise way.

They are giving you the hint: "try returning the result of the expression", which you can implement by having just a single "return" and instead of "true" or "false, give it it expression you used in the "if" statement.

Yes. You are right. I realised it later. Thank you for looking into this :)
