Scrabble Player Code Challenge

Now it says Bummer ... 'e' was supposed to return 1 and instead returned 8. Not following the issue and the next step.

ScrabblePlayer.java
public class ScrabblePlayer {
  private String mHand;
  private int mCount;

  public ScrabblePlayer() {
    mHand = "";
  }

  public String getHand() {
   return mHand;
  }

  public void addTile(char tile) {
    // Adds the tile to the hand of the player
    mHand += tile;
  }

  public boolean hasTile(char tile) {
   return mHand.indexOf(tile) > -1;
  }

  public int getTileCount(char tile){
    for (char letter: mHand.toCharArray()){
      if(letter >= 0){
        mCount ++;
      }

    }
    return mCount;

  }
}

Hmmm... don't you mean, if tile is equal to letter?

public int getTileCount(char tile) { int tileCount = 0; for (char letter : mHand.toCharArray()) { if (tile ==letter ) { tileCount += 1; }

}

return tileCount; } }

Got it. We're comparing the tile to the letter and looking for matches....
