22,190 PointsSave button will not work
Good Afternoon,
I am working on the project and for some reason, my save button stopped functioning properly. I can still see it and press it, however, once I do the text field clears and nothing is updated. Thank you in advance.
ul.addEventListener('click', (e) => { if (e.target.tagName === 'BUTTON') { const button = e.target; const li = e.target.parentNode; const ul = li.parentNode; const nameAction = { remove: () => { ul.removeChild(li); }, edit: () => { const span = li.firstElementChild; const input = document.createElement('input'); input.type = 'text'; input.value = span.textContent; li.insertBefore(input, span); li.removeChild(span); button.textContent = 'save'; }, save: () => { const span = li.firstElementChild; const input = document.createElement('input'); input.type = 'text'; input.value = span.textContent; li.insertBefore(input, span); li.removeChild(span); button.textContent = 'save'; } };
const action = button.textContent;
nameAction[action]();
} });
