JavaScript JavaScript Basics Working with Strings Combine and Manipulate Strings

right

This is all right... I've even put it in my own lines of code and it comes out to the answer they are looking for

app.js
let firstName = "Austin";
let lastName = "Gibson";
let role = 'developer';
let msg = firstName + " " + lastName + ":" + role.toUpperCase() + ".";

console.log(msg);

I've also tried to remove the console.log considering it didnt ask for it but it keeps telling me that i need to convert it using .toUpperCase() but its all there

Your uppercase method is fine. The issue is with the format for the second task.

The instructions for the second task were

Below role, create a new variable named msg that combines the firstName, lastName and role variables to create a string like "Carlos Salgado: developer".

You need a space after the colon and no period at the end to pass the challenge.
