Hello, Do you think I need to go through the 'Console Foundations Course' before starting android?? Thank you!

3,158 PointsHi Tomás. I personally don't think you do. Learning other technology before trying to learn what you REALLY want is something I often struggle with too. You wanna learn Android but you then feel unfamiliar with the bash/shell, Android Studio, tools like Maven or Gradle, plus the language and actual Android SDK.
I think the best way is to just start with the Beginner Android Development track and pick up things as you go. Videos within tracks or courses are quite good at showing additional learning resources for topics covered/shown in the video.
Personally I feel if you focus on learning other stuff, it might be weeks, or months, before you actually get to what you are dying to learn, and that is Android :)
If you get to a video that mentions the console, some tool, or a language concept you don't understand then at that point you can go Google it and learn as much about it as you can.
Hope this helps answer your question, and if you have anything else you'd like to know, or share some of your existing experience to better recommend how to proceed, then feel free to reply ^_^
