I dont know how I am wrong with this
SELECT email AS "obfuscated_email" FROM customers WHERE REPLACE(email, "@", "<at>");
it still says bummer: try again. No real help at all.

First, I don't believe that you need a WHERE statement since you aren't looking for any specific conditions to be met.
Second, the REPLACE statement doesn't go at the end.  You use it where you are using email.  You don't actually need to have email at the beginning since it is in your REPLACE statement.
