Android Build a Simple Android App (2014) Basic Android Programming Using the Random Class

randomGenerator? int randomNumber = int randomGenerator.nextInt();

The code doesn't seem to work according to instructions can you please paste the correct answer in building random number generator

remove the new keyword from the second line. you already have a generator, you dont need a new one. you need to call the nextInt method on the instance of Random you created on the line above.

Random randomGenerator = new Random();
// call nextInt on the instance of Random created above, which is named randomGenerator
int randomNumber = randomGenerator.nextInt()
