It's telling me to abbreviate the colors and 000 is black and fff is white, but its popping up as a wrong answer.

HI there,

I've gone through the quiz and I see no question that asks you to abbreviate the colors white and black.

There is a question that asks for the abbreviate form for #cc7733. There is, however a question that asks for the RGB values for White and Black. If this is the question you're referring to, it doesn't want the HEX values as you have in your post (albeit missing the pound sign #), but the question is asking for the RGB values.

If you feel you're not clear on the difference, have a quick review of the video and give it another go.
