Python indexes

It is saying that task 1 is no longer valid but if I go back to task1 and check it says it is good. but in task 2, task 1 is no longer valid ?

index.py
var_one = "abcdetyu"
var_two = 'aebc"

Hello,

I am not exactly sure why the error you are getting is saying that task 1 no longer works. But note that task 2 is wrong. Negative indexes in python start the count backward, so in this case [-1] would be the last letter 'c' and [-2] would be the 'b'. You have to place the letter 'e' where 'b' currently is.
