Why do we pass in the parameter of props & how is it being used ?

According to Guil, "props" is just the convention used when coding React. It could be any parameter name of your choice.

The way it is used is that whenever the React function (e.g. "Player") is called in the JSX code, any attributes within the JSX tag are passed to the function as an object and stored into "props" (or whatever you name it). Then those attributes can be used within the function using dot notation.
