problem with this challenge!!!!

hey everyone! here's the question: We previously added a FUEL_LEVEL to our spacecraft. Now in FlightActivity, we want to get the value that we put in the Intent. Start by declaring an Intent variable and getting the Intent used to start this Activity. and below you can see my code!it keeps giving me syntax errors and i just don't understand whyyyy! help pls! it's 10 been 10 days since i'm stuck!

Hi there! You're really close here! But we're trying to retrieve an integer from the intent instead of a String. So we need to use a different method than the one that you are trying to use. This is alluded to in the hint to view the documentation. Also, we need to set the value of fuelLevel to be equal to the value that we pull from the intent and give it a default value of -1. This is how I did it:

 Intent intent = getIntent();
 fuelLevel = intent.getIntExtra("FUEL_LEVEL", -1);

First, we set up a new intent variable of type Intent and get the intent. That part you did just fine! Then we assign the integer value we receive from the intent to the fuelLevel that was previously declared. If the intent has no data with the name "FUEL_LEVEL", a value of -1 will be returned instead.
