CSS CSS Basics (2014) Understanding Values and Units Styling the Intro Paragraph

problem with the review

I am trying to figure out what the css code should be for task 4 of 5. I don't recall an example of what they are asking for in this query. Ive gone back through the video and even looked up the Class Selector information on WPD. No luck

4.) You need to target the span inside the .intro class, and apply the styles to that.

5.) You need to create a new rule that targets all unvisited links. To do this you should target all anchor tags and give them the pseudo class of :link

The following is the correct answer...

Your CSS selectors are a bit off. You'll need to write it as a descendant selector, which pretty much tells the browser to find all the spans that are descendants of .intro and do something. Here's how it should be:

.intro span {
  font-weight: bold;
  font-style: italic;
}

The way you have it coded, you're using a double class selector; essentially, the browser is looking for:

<p class="intro span">......</intro>
