Problem with challlenge task on "HTML Basics"

I'm stuck on this excercise, i already did what it said "Place the content between the header and footer (h2, p and ul) inside an element that represents standalone sections of content." but it keep trowing me the bummer message that says" Make sure the section element is between the header and footer tags"

I already tried a lot of options, what am i supposed to type?

index.html
<!DOCTYPE html>
<html>
  <head>
    <link href="styles.css" rel="stylesheet">
    <title>My Portfolio</title>
  </head>
  <body>
    <header>
      <section>
    <ul>
      <li><a href="#">About</a></li>
      <li><a href="#">Work</a></li>
      <li><a href="#">Contact</a></li>
    </ul>
    <h1>My Web Design &amp; Development Portfolio!</h1>
    <p>A site featuring my latest work.</p>
      </section>
    </header>
    <h2>Welcome</h2>
    <p>Fusce semper id ipsum sed scelerisque. Etiam nec elementum massa. Pellentesque tristique ex ac ipsum hendrerit, eget feugiat ante faucibus.</p>

Key stuff here is - "Place the content between the header and footer".

<!DOCTYPE html>
<html>
  <head>
    <link href="styles.css" rel="stylesheet">
    <title>My Portfolio</title>
  </head>
  <body>
    <header>
    <ul>
      <li><a href="#">About</a></li>
      <li><a href="#">Work</a></li>
      <li><a href="#">Contact</a></li>
    </ul>
    <h1>My Web Design &amp; Development Portfolio!</h1>
    <p>A site featuring my latest work.</p>
    </header>
    <h2>Welcome</h2>
    <p>Fusce semper id ipsum sed scelerisque. Etiam nec elementum massa. Pellentesque tristique ex ac ipsum hendrerit, eget feugiat ante faucibus.</p>
    <ul>
      <li><a href="#">Recent project #1</a></li>
      <li><a href="#">Recent project #2</a></li>
      <li><a href="#">Recent project #3</a></li>
    </ul>
    <footer>
    <p>&copy; 2017 My Portfolio</p>
    <p>Follow me on <a href="#">Twitter</a>, <a href="#">Instagram</a> and <a href="#">Dribbble</a></p>
      </footer>
  </body>
</html>

^ try again starting from that point

Still wrong, this error message pop's up: " Bummer! Make sure the section element is between the header and footer."

I did all of these: -Placed all the content in the footer inside a section element and also the header content. -Tried placing each element inside the footer and header into a section element. -I also tried using the article element in the same way but it dind't work either.

"Between the header and footer" means the code that is below the closing header tag and above the opening footer tag.

Hello, Aldo, I used the following code to pass the challenge task. Does this work for you, too?

<header>
  <ul>
      <li><a href="#">About</a></li>
      <li><a href="#">Work</a></li>
      <li><a href="#">Contact</a></li>
  </ul>
</header>
