print(5 + "a")

I'm just not grasping what i am doing here, I've tried treating it like a var.. a = input("enter number") this is the only part i am stuck on.. maybe i'm looking at it wrong. name = input("what's your name?")
print("Hello")

print (name) print("Let's do some math") a = input("Enter a number here") print(5 + "a")

you have written a as a variable, not "a". The variable a is not declared.

I saw that and corrected that, now i am getting a syntax error.. would i make it an int? int("a") = input?

I am stuck on this challenge too. How do I find out what the answer is? I'm totally frustrated.
