In Swift the println (print line) function has been deprecated and replaced with print. Which combines the println function and the print function. The \n you're seeing is in reference to the new line character. If you want to print without a newline you need to pass in a terminator as documented here.

Hope this helps! :sparkles:

Greatly appreciated
