Portfolio won't style my images properly.

With just what you posted here, the only syntax error with the CSS is the missing # (ID selector) before "gallery."

#gallery {margin: 0; padding: 0; list-style: none; }

#gallery li {float: left; width: 45%; margin: 2.5%; background-color: #f5f5f5; color: #bdc3c7; }

And just another note, I was curious if you meant to nest your <h1> and <h2> inside the anchor tags? In my opinion, I would close the tag before your <h> tags. :)
