.pop

something is wrong here...

question in the quiz is as follows:

Complete the code below. Use a method you were taught in this course to remove the last item from the students array. var lastStudent = students.__________;

as far as I can find .pop is the method that removes the last item from an array but when I enter pop (as the '.' is already in place it says that the answer is incorrect.

am I missing something?

Yes, you're actually missing two somethings... the parentheses!

var lastStudent = students.pop();

Stephen, you are correct .pop() is used to remove an item of an array and return its value. I just took the quiz and entered "pop()" and it was correct. I'm sure what happened when you took the quiz, but it's working correctly now. I hope this helps.
