Please tell me what I'm doing wrong: img[title^="product-"] { border-color:lightblue; }

It keeps telling me that I'm not setting the border colors right... I believe the system is wrong. Please help.

style.css
/* Complete the challenge by writing CSS below */
img[title^="product-" {
  border-color:lightblue;
}

This looks correct to me. You might want to report this as a bug to Support.

There is a different attribute selector to match hyphen, - (U+002D):

/* Complete the challenge by writing CSS below */
img[title|="product" {
  border-color:lightblue;
}

[attr|=value] Represents an element with an attribute name of attr whose value can be exactly value or can begin with value immediately followed by a hyphen, - (U+002D). It is often used for language subcode matches.

:x: That's not what this challenge is asking for (and it also does not pass).
