Please help

OK, now let's add a method named run_lap. It'll take a length argument. It should reduce the fuel_remaining attribute by length multiplied by 0.125. Oh, and add a laps attribute to the class, set to 0, and increment it each time the run_lap method is called.

racecar.py
class RaceCar:
    laps = 0
    def __init__(self, color, fuel_remaining, **kwargs):
        self.color = color
        self.fuel_remaining = fuel_remaining
        for key,values in kwargs.items():
            setattr(self,key,values)

    def run_lap(self,length):
        self.fuel_remaining = self.fuel_remaining - self.length * 0.125
        laps = laps + 1

Hi Deshi,

I just answered your other question on this same challenge - you're actually closer here. All you need to do is use length instead of self.length, which doesn't exist, in your run_lap method.

Hi Greg, how do we know when to set an attribute to the instance inside of a method? Wouldn't length need to be apart of this instance since we are setting attribute fuel_remaining to to the instance?
