Pictures not loading to Wordpress

When I load pictures media section there is just an image icon. When I edit a picture it shows up though. However when I add it to a page I only see info about the photo and the image icon.

You can try double checking that all of the file permissions are correct for your WordPress install. If this is just a development/practice site I would try installing another WP site and see if you have the same problem.
