In the CSS file, use the class to give both <a> tags 15px of padding and 10px of margin. Bummer! You need to set the padding for .social-links elements to 15px.
{ padding: 15px; margin: 10px: } what went wrong with this?
<!doctype html>
<html>
<head>
<title>List Example</title>
<link rel="stylesheet" href="styles.css">
</head>
<body>
<a href="#"class=social-links>Follow me on Twitter!</a>
<a href="#"class=social-links>Send me an Email!</a>
</body>
</html>
a href .social-links {
padding: 15px;
margin: 10px;
}

You have some stray HTML code in your CSS file.
That "a href" should not be there.
When the instructions say "use the class", I think they intend for you to use only the class.
