Java Java Data Structures - Retired Getting There Override an inherited method

Overriding toString method for BlogPost

What seems to be the correct answer -- just like the example in the video -- does not seem to be working.

com/example/BlogPost.java
package com.example;

import java.util.Date;

public class BlogPost {
    private String mAuthor;
    private String mTitle;
    private String mBody;
    private String mCategory;
    private Date mCreationDate;

    public BlogPost(String author, String title, String body, String category, Date creationDate) {
      mAuthor = author;
      mTitle = title;
      mBody = body;
      mCategory = category;
      mCreationDate = creationDate;
    }

  @Override
  public String toString() {
    return "Blog Post: " + mTitle + " by " + mAuthor;
    }

  public String getAuthor() {
      return mAuthor;
    }

    public String getTitle() {
      return mTitle;
    }

    public String getBody() {
      return mBody;
    }

    public String getCategory() {
      return mCategory;
    }

    public Date getCreationDate() {
      return mCreationDate;
    }
}

As this might seem a little stupid to you right now, details are very important in the future.

The result string should be : "BlogPost: TITLE by AUTHOR" While yours is: "Blog Post: TITLE by AUTHOR"

You did good job, just forgot to remove the space in "Blog Post"

Hope it help and don't worry; little mistakes are daily life in programming

Good luck!

Thanks, Maciej! That worked.

You have everything correct, but you need to add on to mAuthor and mTitle. You will need to set mAuthor = "Check this out!" and mTitle = "Craig Dennis". Then you should be able to past.
