Oops! It looks like Task 1 is no...

Here is my code of the second task of the https://teamtreehouse.com/library/javascript-and-the-dom-2/making-changes-to-the-dom/modifying-elements

let inputValue = document.querySelector('input').value; inputValue = document.querySelector('a').textContent;

I probably make an error but I tried it on the console and it worked.

app.js
let inputValue = document.querySelector('input').value;
inputValue = document.querySelector('a').textContent;
index.html
<!DOCTYPE html>
<html>
    <head>
        <title>DOM Manipulation</title>
    </head>
    <link rel="stylesheet" href="style.css" />
    <body>
        <div id="content">
            <label>Link Name:</label>
            <input type="text" id="linkName">
            <a id="link" href="https://teamtreehouse.com"></a>
        </div>
        <script src="app.js"></script>
    </body>
</html>

This line is your problem inputValue = document.querySelector('a').textContent;

It looks like you are assigning the value of inputValue to the text Content of the anchor tag. You want the opposite of that. If you reverse your logic right there, it should fix the problem.

O... My bad... This is the limit of my english understanding, English is not my mother tongue, so sometimes if I don't pay attention on the question, I got mess up. Thanks

The wording of the task is vague, I had to read it a few times after reading this explanation to understand what they're asking for. The first task tells you to assign the value of the input to inputValue, the second task is to make the text content of the a tag in the HTML equal to whatever was input and stored as inputValue. I'm not sure my explanation made much more sense, but it seems hard to put what they're asking for into words.
