        self.fuel_remaining = fuel_remaining
        self.laps = 0
        for x, y in kwargs.items():
            setattr(self, x, y)
    def run_lap(self, length):
        self.fuel_remaining -= length * 0.125

Hi, D Elis!

Here are the modifications that I made:

In the run_lap method, I removed the python self.laps = 0 - this is already defined in the init() and will only reset the variable to 0 each time the method is run.

class RaceCar:
    def __init__(self, color, fuel_remaining, **kwargs):
        self.color = color
        self.fuel_remaining = fuel_remaining
        self.laps = 0

        for x, y in kwargs.items():
            setattr(self, x, y)

    def run_lap(self, length):
        self.fuel_remaining -= length * 0.125
        self.laps += 1
