Once a user authenticates for the first time, the login page is gone when the app restarts.

For instance, the first time I start the app, I log in as "Hunter", the next time I start the app, I should be able to login as another person. However, the problem I am getting now is the authentication page is gone and it prompts me straight to the message page.

What are you using in the backend? You are probably saving values in the backend when the user successfully logs in, you need to clear that value in order to show the authentication page again.
