OK, so now use .format() on the string "Treehouse loves {}" to put your name into the placeholder. Assign this to the variable subject again.
name="Takuji"
subject = "Treehose loves{} " + name.format()

65,469 PointsYou are very close!
- You need to call the
format()
function on the "Treehouse Loves {}" string, not on thename
variable. - You don't need to concatenate (add) any strings together.
- You are missing an argument for the
format()
function (you need to put something between the parentheses) - "Treehouse Loves{} " and "Treehouse Loves {}" are different strings.
If these don't help, ask below for more hints
I hope this helps. ~Alex
HINT: You format strings like this...
"Hello {}".format("Takuji")
