Full Stack JavaScript Techdegree Student 14,597 PointsThanks also Dave McFarland ! Your videos are so to the point and explain every little thing in detail, you really pick up on things that a newbie might go "what does he mean by that" and then you explain it straight away, you're a fantastic teacher buddy!

19,509 PointsYeah, this was by far the best authentication (I tried all Javascript-Node-Express-React and Spring ones) course at Treehouse I think. I couldn't understand that session stuff and here I finally got good, simple explanation. Other courses cover only Basic Auth what means adding credentials to every request what is not a good idea, or storing user data in cookies what is even worse. Or giving us just a little explanation saying that "stuff gets done behind the courtain" (now I'm talking about Spring ones). I'm still learning, I'm not professional developer, but this session stuff feels much more legit than those I mentioned earlier. Also MongoDB gives really good feeling of working with real database, not some fake json/data object stored in some folder in project directory.
Thanks Dave McFarland !
