Object-Oriented Python Methods NameError: name 'random' is not defined

Following along on my mac at home, I ran into this error. I just wanted to help anyone else that has this error.

on the top of your file place: import random

def pickpocket(self):
    #print(bool(random.randint(0,1)))
    return bool(random.randint(0,1))

Why I'm getting Name error: random is not defined, I have already imported random module
