Now replace <YOUR NAME> in the console.printf expression with the firstName variable using the string formatter.

i am not sure what this question is asking

// I have setup a java.io.Console object for you named console

String firstName = "Carol";
console.printf( "%s, can code in Java", firstName);
//console.printf("%s, cancode in Java", firstName);

Hi carolyne,

You added a comma after the %s placeholder which wasn't part of the requested string output. You should pass once you remove that comma.
