Now replace <YOUR NAME> in the console.printf expression with the firstName variable using the string formatter.

console.printf("%s can code in Java!",firstName); its giving me compiler error

You "misspelled" firstName. A capital N and a lowercase n are different to Java.

You typed firstname. The only difference is the capital N and the lowercase n you typed. Java is case-sensitive, which means firstname is different from firstName. Try using firstName instead!
