You're close to having this. You appear to either have possibly deleted the first line of the code which you used for Task 1. This line looked like
SharedPreferences mSharedPreferences;
to start. From there you need to use the correct method from PreferenceManager and context as the context to obtain the SharedPreferences. Once you have that done, you should be able to complete the challenge. If you need more help, please provide updated code so that we can assist you further from the point you will be at.
