public class Spaceship { public String mType;
public String getType() {
return mType;
}
public void setType(String type) {
mType = type;
}
public Spaceship() { mType = "SHUTTLE"; } public Spaceship(String type) { mType=type;
} }
public class Spaceship {
public String mType;
public String getType() {
return mType;
}
public void setType(String type) {
mType = type;
}
public Spaceship() {
mType = "SHUTTLE";
}
public Spaceship(String type) {
mType=type;
}
}

Full Stack JavaScript Techdegree Graduate 22,610 PointsIn your second constructor you're doing the same thing that's being done in setShipType()
just use setShipType()
and pass on the String variable of the constructor to the method.
public class Spaceship {
public String shipType;
public Spaceship () {
shipType = "SHUTTLE";
}
public Spaceship (String shuttle) {
setShipType(shuttle);
}
public String getShipType() {
return shipType;
}
public void setShipType(String shipType) {
this.shipType = shipType;
}
}
