JavaScript Practice Classes in JavaScript Practicing Classes Practice Adding Methods

nothing is working

this is the way treehouse says it should be answered. nothing else works. but it won't take it either.

User.js
class User {
    constructor(email, username, birthday) {
        this.email = email;
        this.username = username;
        this.birthday = birthday;
    }

    changeUsername(username) {
        this.username = username;
    }
}
const user1 = new User("JavaScriptStudent@teamtreehouse.com", "JSUser1", "1/08/1991"); {
user1='changeUsername'(โ€œTreehouseStudent2โ€);
}

It looks like the way you are calling your changeUsername function is incorrect.

Rather than:

user1='changeUsername'(โ€œTreehouseStudent2โ€);

It should be:

user1.changeUsername("TreehouseStudent2");
