10,654 PointsNot understanding why I'm watching this video.
My first android project in treehouse was the fun facts project and decided to move onto "Android tools". I'm not sure if that was the appropriate route to take, but I'm currently confused watching this video. I do not understand what fragments are and this topic was never mentioned in the fun facts project.

7,445 PointsI was wondering the same thing. I'm going to assume that multiple updates to Android Studio has made it easier for us so that we don't need to worry about the fragments. The number of files that we see are much less than what is shown in the videos in this particular course, which is 2 years old.
I'm just watching it to get a background on Android Studio and to see how it has evolved over time.
