Not sure why my answer to the question regarding removing vowels wont accept.

Here is my code - def disemvowel(word): vowels = ('a', 'e', 'i', 'o', 'u') wo = [] for x in word.lower() : if x not in vowels: wo.append(x) return ''.join(wo)

disemvowel.py
def disemvowel(word):
    vowels = ('a', 'e', 'i', 'o', 'u')
    wo = []
    for x in word.lower() :
        if x not in vowels:
            wo.append(x)
    return ''.join(wo)

you're almost there, you are lowering the entire word which is lowering consonants that it doesn't want lowered. just lower the vowels. this can be fixed with one simple move - relocate the call to lower() in the for loop so that only vowels are lowered.
