class Fish {
  public $common_name;     // this is not needed --> 'Default Name';
  public $flavor;
  public $record_weight;

  function __construct($name, $flavor, $record){
    $this->name = $common_name;
    $this->flavor = $flavor;
    $this->record = $record_weight;
  }
}

$type = new Fish("Nemo", "Clown Fish", "30kg");
?>```

and your construct function should look like this.

function __construct($name, $flavor, $record){
        $this->common_name = $name;
        $this->flavor = $flavor;
        $this->record_weight = $record;
    }

Unfortunately I'm still getting:

Bummer! Be sure the $name parameter is assigned to the common_name property.

Even after removing the default name part

Oh it works now. Thankyou so much!

no problem sorry the default part stood out at me and i forgot to look at the rest of the code or I would of told you in one sitting haha

No worries, appreciate the quick response :)
