The question is: "Place a Boolean value between the parenthesis for the condition in this conditional statement. Use the boolean value that will result in the message "This is true" appearing in an alert box."
So boolean values are really just true or false. When you write a comparison (like "aa" === "aa") you're looking for a boolean value in return. In the case of this exercise though all you need to do is provide the boolean value for true.
if (true) {
alert('This is true');
} else {
alert('This is false');
}
This is testing your understanding of two things:
- You understand what boolean values are.
- You understand that you don't need to pass boolean values as strings (no quotes around them).
