You just need to put in the value true
into the parentheses so JavaScript will pass into the if
block and run the code the challenge expects to run.
Your idea is of using the true
value is correct, though :)
if ( true ) {
alert('This is true');
} else {
alert('This is false');
}

28,558 PointsYou might be overthinking the challenge a bit, a Boolean value is just the values true or false. And they can be used on their own as conditions. The solution looks like this:
if (true) {
alert('This is true');
} else {
alert('This is false');
}
An if statement will execute if you pass it the Boolean true, or any expression that evaluates to true.
