not quite sure what im supposed to do here?

it would like for me to find the total for upcoming_releases and current_count.

delete.py
current_count = 14
planned = 5
upcoming_releases = 2
del planned
current_count and upcoming_releases to total

You have the right idea. It's a syntax issue.

To add two number us the math operator + and not the logical and. The challenge asks to assign the sum to the variable total. This is done using the = sign:

total = current_count + upcoming_releases
