Front End Web Development Techdegree Graduate 84,738 PointsLet's say we're inside a container component, and it's render function looks something like this:
render() {
return (
<div>
<Widget>
{props.data}
</Widget>
<div>
);
}
So in the parent component, it's going to render some JSX which contains the Widget
component. And nested inside the Widget tags we're passing in something else. Now, in the Widget component, how can it access that data that was passed in? The answer is props.children
.
const Widget = (props) => {
return (
<div>
{props.children}
</div>
)
}
