12,093 PointsNo option to commit under Source Control.
After creating the xCode project and making changes to the code, when I go to the Source Control menu the only options not greyed out are Create Working Copy and Checkout. Is there something further that needs to be done?

12,093 PointsI had to create a New Working Copy in order to be able to commit. I'm pretty certain that I had selected the Git repository option when creating the project but it's possible that I just blew through that out of habit.

12,086 PointsI had the same issue. I couldn't identify the cause of the problem, so I deleted the project, quit XCode, relaunched, created a new project, and then everything worked fine.
The only theory I have as to why the first one didn't work was that I already had XCode running when I made the changes in the terminal that Gabe does at 3:44 in the vid. So I'm thinking that those terminal changes didn't apply until I restarted XCode.
More knowledgeable people, please feel free to jump in if I don't know what I'm talking about!

Courses Plus Student 7,653 PointsOMG, so I figured it out. OK, so it's really basic. Ensure you have the https: link provided by github and NOT the SSH git@github.com:username/project.git link. One requires a certificate.
