New for me...looks like something I did in task 2 invalidated task 1.

Now I can;t access task 2 so I am stuck! Can;t even see the code to work on whatever I broke, The first time it happened, I restarted the exercise and did Task 1 and 2 from scratch again. How can I access my code so I can get back to the course.

Order.java
public class Order {
  private String itemName;
  private int priceInCents;
  private String discountCode;

  private String normalizeDiscountCode(String discountCode) {

     this.discountCode = discountCode.toUpperCase();
     char[] charArray = discountCode.toCharArray();
     for (int i = 0 ; i < charArray.length ; i++) {
        if (charArray[i] >= 'A' && charArray[i] <= 'Z' && charArray[i] != '$') {
          continue;
        } else {
          throw new IllegalArgumentException("Invalid discount code.");
        }
     }
     return this.discountCode;
  }

  public Order(String itemName, int priceInCents) {
    this.itemName = itemName;
    this.priceInCents = priceInCents;
  }

  public String getItemName() {
    return itemName;
  }

  public int getPriceInCents() {
    return priceInCents;
  }

  public String getDiscountCode() {
    return discountCode;
  }

  public void applyDiscountCode(String discountCode) {
    this.discountCode = normalizeDiscountCode(discountCode);
  }
}
Example.java
public class Example {

  public static void main(String[] args) {
    // This is here just for example use cases.

    Order order = new Order(
            "Yoda PEZ Dispenser",
            600);

    // These are valid. They are letters and the $ character only
    order.applyDiscountCode("abc");
    order.getDiscountCode(); // ABC

    order.applyDiscountCode("$ale");
    order.getDiscountCode(); // $ALE

    try {
      // This will throw an exception because it contains numbers
      order.applyDiscountCode("ABC123");
    } catch (IllegalArgumentException iae) {
      System.out.println(iae.getMessage()); // Prints "Invalid discount code"
    }
    try {
      // This will throw as well, because it contains a symbol.
      order.applyDiscountCode("w@w");
    }catch (IllegalArgumentException iae) {
      System.out.println(iae.getMessage()); // Prints "Invalid discount code"
    }

  }
}

So you restarted it and the work you did was lost? If so, I don't know if you can retrieve it, but if you ever get the task 1 no longer passes error you can right click on the code and undo whatever you just did to give you that error

I repeated the tasks again with exactly the same result. Task one was fairly straight forward. I can't imagine task one being the problem. Task 2 compiled withourterrors but as soon as I corrected the last one, it went blank and the (preview/editor) button disapeared giving me no way to go back to the code. The code is probably there but I can't get to it. It happened twice. Don't know if it is me or I just found a bug.
