1,962 PointsNeed the WHERE clause?
I thought I needed a WHERE clause in both queries, and I know I need the UNION set operation, but wasn't sure how I'm messing up. My code is copied and pasted below:
SELECT Name FROM Fruit WHERE Name >= 'A' and Name < 'K' UNION SELECT Name FROM Vegetable WHERE Name >= 'A' and Name < 'K';

231,265 PointsThe instructions say to include names that begin with "K", so you need to set your upper limit to the next letter ("L"). Also, you don't need to exclude names starting with letters before "A" (since there aren't any).
SELECT Name FROM Fruit WHERE Name < 'L' UNION SELECT Name FROM Vegetable WHERE Name < 'L';
