need help figuring it out.

Not sure where I'm wrong

racecar.py
class RaceCar:
    laps = 0
    def __init__(self, color, fuel_remaining, **kwargs):
        self.color = color
        self.fuel_remaining = fuel_remaining
        for attribute, value in kwargs.items():
            setattr(self, attribute, value)

    def run_lap(self, length):
        length = self.fuel_remaining - (length * 0.125)
        for lap in self.laps:
            lap += 1

I'm unsure why you are assigning self.fuel_remaining - (length * 0.125) to the length argument, but it should be assigned to self.fuel_remaining. Also, you are supposed to increment the laps property, not loop over it. So the solution would be:

def run_lap(self, length):
    self.fuel_remaining -= length * 0.125
    self.laps += 1
