Treehouse Moderator 68,468 PointsTo make a new variable, assign any value to that variable.
total = <some value>
The value can be any object or expression, such as, var1 + var2.
del statements. You can not add current_count to total if current_count has already been deleted. The deletion causes a NameError since current_count would no longer be found.
