When we use the name="name" attribute, it doesn't show on the browser. Is this for semantic sense?

33,990 PointsHi Chris, the name attribute simply names the element. The name attribute can be used to refer to data when a form is submitted or to reference elements in JavaScript for example:
HTML
<input type="text" name="myInput"> <!-- gives the input a name of "myInput" -->
JavaScript
var a = document.getElementsByName("myInput"); //select any elements with the name "myInput"
Hope that helps!!
