my solution

const low = parseInt(prompt("Enter the low number"));

const high = parseInt(prompt("Enter the high number"));

const getRandom = (low,high) => {

return `${Math.floor(Math.random() * (high - low + 1)) + low}`;

};

alert(`Random number is : ${getRandom(low,high)}`);

This works fine here, but what if you wanted to do some math with the random number?

You can easily convert this function to return a number instead of a string (and make it a bit more compact) :

const getRandom = (low, high) => Math.floor(Math.random() * (high - low + 1)) + low;
